PowerSteering Software Appoints New Senior Vice President of Products

PowerSteering, the only provider of solutions for measuring and managing strategic enterprise programs, announced today that Tibor Vais has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Products. At PowerSteering, Mr. Vais will play a key role in developing the company's strategic product roadmap and bringing new solutions to market. Mr. Vais will report to David Boghossian, CEO of PowerSteering.

"Tibor brings a blend of experience in general management and technical product development that will enhance our executive team and help us develop and bring innovative new solutions to market," said Mr. Boghossian. "Tibor's 20 years of experience in managing enterprise-class software development will prove a valuable asset as we continue to grow our company."

Prior to joining PowerSteering, Mr. Vais was CTO at NewRiver; Vice President of Engineering and CTO at ChannelWave Software; Chief Operating Officer at Damirus Corporation; and CEO and President at WebSecure. Mr. Vais worked for 14 years at CompuServe, progressing from a Software Engineer to General Manager of CompuServe's software division - CompuServe Data Technologies. Prior to his software experience, Mr. Vais spent more than a decade in academia, at the Russian Academy of Sciences and at Harvard University. He received his master's degree from Moscow University and his doctorate from the Russian Academy of Sciences.
